It's Wildflower Hiking Season Again

Grant Allen/Adventure Tribune
It's that time of year again. With the spring season in full swing, wildflowers begin to bloom in some of our favorite hiking spots thanks to a perfect blend of rain and sunshine.

Take some time this hiking season to scout out your favorite hiking trails that feature groves of colorful wildflowers. Many of the trails will be dried out in the heat of the summer, so take the spring opportunities to explore nature's paintbrush.

This particular photo was captured during a hike around Mount Hood outside of Portland, Ore. The famous Rose City features hundreds of colorful wildflower types along our favorite hiking trails.

If you have a favorite wildflower hiking trail, let The Adventure Tribune know; we'll share your expertise with our avid readers. In the meantime, enjoy the view.
